It is 2:44 AM, folks, and whaddaya know, I'm still up.
Of course, this is largely thanks to NaNoWriMo (I'm two days aheaaaaaaaad ) but I could very well have gone to sleep roughly an hour or more ago if I could ever tear myself away from the computer as soon as I should.
I wrote 1600 words of absolute nonsense on Write or Die, as can attest, and a few thousand more of not quite nonsense in my normal word processor of choice (Q10, by the way). And I must say I am rather satisfied with the result

SOUL EATER
The anime was good. The ending of the anime was cliche but good.... at least until I read the manga.
So, SO MUCH BETTER but sad. Oh so very sad D: There are a few things different in the manga/anime switch and some are good, and some bad.

Mifune
He's...he's..he's...dead. *sniff* wahh. In all actuality, I can't remember if this happened in the anime; it may very well have. But as far as I am concerned, I cannot remember that it did, and so it did not. (IF I DON'T REMEMBER IT IT DIDN'T HAPPEN) So saaaad D: I liked Mifune, he was so awesome. ;_; And Angela! Poor, poor Angela.
Justin Law
This... he... I don't even know what to say. Just: WHAT?!?! WHYYYYY?! GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH JUSTINNNNNNNNNNNN YOU WERE SO AWESOME BUT WHYYYYY D:
The bastard. The absolutely evil friggin' BASTARD. (I still love you Justin /shot'd) He just HAD to go and... grargh. "The kishin-sama"?! GAH! JUSTINNNN! D<
Franken Stein
This I am happy about. In the anime Stein-hakase wanders off and gets lost, in insanity or the city or both, and it goes on for so long and there's a fight with Medusa and he's just such a poor, poor thing D:
But in the manga it is nowhere NEAR as bad as that. He's "arrested" for BJ's death, but Spirit-senpai and Sid-sensei and everyone let him go because they're awesome like that and he's innocent. So he goes with Marie and when they appear again he's completely saaaaaane |D
It was also pretty darn hilarious when they showed up when they caught Justin. They did this sort of complicated coordinated dance move when pulling off their cloaks, and then Marie twirled around while holding onto his shoulder and stomped her heel on the ground before transforming into weapon form. Which was all just... epic, and reinforced my hope in the Stein/Marie fandom (I've never been able to stand Stein/Medusa, it's just..... gah.)
And also when they showed up back at Shibusen, hakase randomly popped in to answer a question Maka asked and she goes, "HAKASE?!" and she hugs him and goes, "I'm so glad you're back!" and it was so sweeeeeeeeeeeeet and gah xD
NARUTO
Kisame
Well. WELL.
We have never really seen Kisame fight before, and I predicted a few chapters back that since this is the first time we're seeing it and it's with BEE, it is going to be made of epic.
And I was right.
Except it was way too short D: Already pretty much over, in the course of about four, maybe five chapters. But the water prison thing was COOL, and his Samehada-fused form is epic. And then there was the panel where he looked like he'd just been rejected- xDDD "Samehada.. you... do you really like his chakras that much? ;_;" I about fell out of my chair.
Two words. UCHIHA... FIIIIIIIIIGHT

But no, REALLY. The Uchiha fight is so amazingly epic that I cannot wait to see it animated. Granted, they do just throw avalanches of shuriken at each other for a while there at the beginning, but it gets AWESOME. Especially when Sasugay pulls that lightning jutsu out of nowhere, but I won't go into that. That's dangerous territory. I could start to *like* Sasuke.
